Eyes with artificial lenses (Pseudophakia)
Patients having received an IOL implant during a procedure at an earlier stage, and achieving considerable visual improvement through glasses, may be corrected by the AddOn® IOL. Such an AddOn® IOL is inserted into the ciliary sulcus in addition to the IOL originally implanted. In the majority of cases the glasses can be replaced by the AddOn® IOL. In the event that the AddOn® IOL is complemented by the individual feature „improved near vision“, reading glasses can be dispensed with.
