Patients without crystalline lens as a result of a procedure at an earlier stage, who are consequently wearing contact lenses or glasses, are ideal candidates for the Special IOL. This IOL is implanted into the ciliary sulcus. It may also be provided with individual features, which often leads to higher degrees of independence from glasses.
